An extreme air of terror is prevailing and plenty of individuals with bowed heads are down on the desks; air breathing is hard to listen; pin drop silence all around, no mobile tone, no whispering, no gossip and pens in hands, some are busy with the twisting of this pen in the fingers of right hand while others are pricking the head with the cap at the back of pen. Guessed or not? Yes; this is an inside picture of an office where the boss is present on the site.
You must have heard some horrible and to some extent ironic stories by your buddies around whom work at office and for them the figure of boss stands as a monster; to whom no one can fight back and the voice of whom is considered as the death angel is calling. Bossy attitude is also referred as a symbol for those people who are in habit of establishing their authority over others as boss is second name of authority. You must have also come across some people around claiming and complaining to you that their boss considers his words as the last words and does not like to hold any second opinion.
All these issues are more or less are true and become the reason of many new employees for running away. This boss named being is the reason of many workers to get on frequent sick leaves and utilize these sick leaves as party and fun making time. All the pigeons of an office or working place impatiently wait for the weekends to turn soon in the presence of boss and wish their working days may never end when the boss is present. A single announcement of their boss’ absence or foreign tour brings chuckles and sneering smiles on these faces.
You know if you are a working individual who has also to go in the war of facing your boss; you must have a jealous or envious feeling in your heart about those who are favorite of your boss and are often called as spoons in the public. Do you think that they are truly loyal to the boss; no, no my dear no, these are some tricky people who find out some mid ways and learn some clever ways to get their way to boss. They are in fact as injured from the heart inside as you are and pray for the boss to get ill as frequently as you wish or perhaps even more than you.
This article may bring some lightweight tips and mild tricks through which you can get your way to your boss. First is the foremost important thing to remember; always make your boss realize that he is right as you know that boss is always right. Start your conversation by appreciating his strategies and the plans he thinks of and wants his workers to follow. Never even dare to start your talk with the very word “No”. don’t think that such a word ever existed in the world’s dictionary rather use its substitutes like you can reveal your opinion like “ I wonder how genius you are; you have planned out a perfect way for things to get and I can predict this scheme working in a fabulous way but I think we can also go by……..”
By reading the above paragraph; you must find out the ratio of the words and sentences you have to use in the appreciation of your boss and a part you need to reserve for your “humble opinion”, don’t forget to focus on the word “humble”. See! If you think that this is hypocrisy or diplomacy and you are a type of true humane spirited being who cannot even think of doing this, let me claim that you daily take many offenses not in the working place but also at the place you are living. Religion never suppresses you to hurt others by using harsh and killing words. Your anger, your annoyance or your contempt can be revealed in some polite and soft tone which can fulfill your purpose. So pls stop doing and spreading your truth in such words which start people disliking you and your shut up calls.
Incorporate good obeying tips in your daily routine rather than showing your boss that you are a stubborn who can be rectified only by a warning. This will bring pleasing effects not only on your mood but also will make your boss realize that you are one of his loyal and obedient workers. By the way; there is no harm to incorporate little things in your dress code what your boss suggests like tie knotting, studs and other minor alterations which may be insignificant for you but are important to your boss.
Offering volunteer services can bring you closer to get your way to your boss. If there is some volunteer individuals are needed; you must not hesitate offering yourself instead of showing check me out attitude. The place we earn from deserves that we can do little extra for that. This will also make you respectable and lovable for others. By doing this; you can hope your boss giving you genuine favors (I do not say that he will start favoritism; genuine favor that you really deserve).
In the end; while summing up, I’d suggest you not to get involved in any kind of anti-boss talk or activity; you never know the person you’re talking with may be spying on you. This can damage your dignity so better is to maintain your respectful status instead of getting your stomach upset fearing on what if these all get leaked out?
Waiting for your boss to pass from the place you are passing can really work as this will ultimately realize your boss that you value him and respect him.
